Q. Why a Car Buying
Service for African Americans? Q. Will I get the best
price? Q. Can I just go to the dealer on my own? A. Yes. But you will not receive special pricing without the dealer receiving your completed Auto Request form prior to your visit. The service works best for you with documentation. Q. Will any dealer offer same price and level of service? A. No. Not on a consistent basis. Our volume of business to dealers determine pricing and service. Q. Why will a dealer give AutoNetwork special pricing and service? A. Purely because we positively affect the dealers bottom line with sales. The more sales the dealer gets the better the pricing and service. Q. How will I know what dealer to contact? A. Locate your city and state on our map to find dealer in your area. Then complete the online Auto Request Form. That dealer will contact you based on the information you give. Q. I have bad credit, can you help? A. Yes. Let our professional lenders determine the quality of your credit. They want to find ways to make the loan not turn you down. Q. How do I know it's the best interest rate? A. The number of loans generated from AutoNetwork customers will determine the rates we can negotiate with lenders. If the rate quoted to you is not competitive let me know. But remember your credit does play a role here. Q. Is there a fee to use AutoNetwork? A. No. Our service is free. Tell all your friends, relatives and co-workers to only use AutoNetwork when buying their new or used car. Q. How does AutoNetwork get paid? A. Advertisers and sponsors pay fees to participate in AutoNetwork. Q. Does AutoNetwork sell cars? A. No. All cars are sold by a franchised new car dealer and certified independent dealers for used cars. Q. How long will it take for the dealer to contact me? A. I ask all dealers to get back to you in less than 2 hours if you have answered all questions on the Auto Request Form. Q. Will the dealer pressure me into buying today? A. No. You will be given ample time to test drive, ask questions and make certain the vehicle and financing is right for you. If you have to go home and think about it I only ask that you return to that dealer to make your purchase. You are important to making this program work for others. Q. Can I lease a car? A. Yes. But, first read my section on Auto Leasing so that you get the real information on leasing. Q. What if another dealer offers a better price? A. My goal is to get auto dealers to consistently offer you a lower price. We can only accomplish this by you and others using AutoNetwork to demonstrate to dealers that this is good business. Those dealers that are not in our program will make all kinds of promises to get your business. Only use AutoNetwork. We need your help. Q. Can I just take a test drive without buying? A. Yes. Dealers want to make sure you're buying the right car. When you decide to buy please go back to that dealer. This is very important to making our service work for everyone and makes AutoNetwork a reliable service for you and dealers. Q. AutoNetwork just sounds to good to be true? A. How many times have you heard the phrase Keep it simple stupid? That's what I do. It's the simplicity that makes it work. If you get a great price, the dealer sells a car at a price he/she can live with and AutoNetwork has another happy and satisfied customer then that's the simplicity I seek. I've had years of experience in designing and implementing successful car buying programs for credit unions and at the end of the day the credit union member, the car dealer and I had to be completely satisfied. Q. How long has AutoNetwork been in business? A. I started AutoNetwork in 1986 as a car buying service for credit unions and its members. Q. Is
AutoNetwork a front for some white business? Q. Why are you including Hispanics and not just African Americans? A. We're all in the same boat when it comes to being overcharged for cars and higher interest rates for auto loans. With two of the largest minority groups united we will accomplish our goals of consistently lower car prices, better service and consistently lower interest rates faster with more buyers. Q. I'm an excellent negotiator so why do I need AutoNetwork? A. You're just the type of person with the expertise to instantly know if your price is good. By your participating we can keep the dealers on there toes and I will greatly appreciate your help. Q. Can I get a discount on a "hot car"?. A. Yes. All cars are subject to some kind of discount or special offer. Q. Is this program for all types of cars, trucks, suvs, etc.? A. I must say yes with a qualifier. You will save money on all types of new and used vehicles. We are seeking exotic car dealers to service the super luxury brands. Q. What about used cars? A. You may purchase a used car as well. Select used car when you complete the Auto Request Form. We work with certified used car programs offered by car companies through there auto dealer network. Q. I still don't see why I should use AutoNetwork? A. Here are two examples I use to explain why a minority should use AutoNetwork. Walmart may not have the lowest price on all items it sells but its pricing is consistently lower from the manufacturers because of the volume of Walmart shoppers and as a result you save money at Walmart. If you invest in mutual funds or stocks for the long term you want those investments to perform at a consistently better rate of return over time than a quick hit. AutoNetwork takes the volume of numerous shoppers over time and pass that business to dealers and in return the dealers consistantly give AutoNetwork customers lower prices and better service. Q. Will all the Preferred Dealers inventory be offered at a discount. A. Yes. Our Preferred Dealers have agreed to make the entire inventory available at a discount. Q. What lenders work with AutoNetwork? A. At present I have not worked out a deal with a specific lender. I'm discussing the program with a couple of lenders to offer pre-approval and lower rates for AutoNetwork customers. Right now the dealers are using their lenders to seek the best rates for AutoNetwork customers. Q. Is the Car Buying Service national? A. Yes. It Will be. The Car Buying Service will roll out in all the major markets then to smaller cities as we sign on dealers. Q. Is the AutoNetwork Car Buying Service just for African Americans? A. The primary customer is African American and Hispanics. We have been disportionately taken advantage of. But to answer your question direct , no. We will assist any car buyer. |
